Assessing Student Staff DevelopmentThis is a presentation I gave at the 2015 Indiana Student Affairs Association Conference on using assessment to measure baseline competencies for student staff, how to inform their training, and ultimately how to track and show their professional development.

Undocumented StudentsThis was poster presentation that I co-created and presented with the wonderfully talented Trevor Cook at the 2014 Indiana Student Affairs Association Conference. Our poster focused on the current statistics of undocumented students in higher education, as well as examined previous and proposed case law that influenced operating policies and standards for institutions of higher education.

Student VeteransI was lucky enough to be asked to co-present with the insightful, subject-matter expert John Summerlot at the 2015 Indiana Student Affairs Association Conference. Our presentation addressed the student veteran community on campuses and attempted to create awareness of their specific population needs and identify subsets of the overall veteran population.

Boise State University DayTo this day, one of my proudest accomplishments remains my coordination and collaboration with the President's Office for hosting Boise State University's Day at the Capitol and having Governor Butch Otter sign the first Gubernatorial Proclamation for Boise State University Day.

Parental InvolvementThis was session that I was invited to co-present with the passionate and charismatic Emily Miller at the 2015 NODAR VII. The focus of this presentation was about providing different theories and models to inform the way we partner with parents and families, as well as create a session that would allow opportunities for bench-marking best practices.
